I have just received my great great uncle's death certificate. After staring for years at his grave in Mt. Olivet, Detroit, I had always thought it was so sad that he died so young in 1923. Wondering, I ordered his death certificate. I could NOT believe my eyes. He was married!! No one in my family has known or ever mentioned his wife,
Cecilia Ostrowska who, at the time of filing this death certificate, lived at 3129 Boulevard
Court in Detroit. She stated that her husband, Walter (Wladislav
MALINOWSKI) worked as a coremaker at
Boon Foundry. He was born in 1879 (I do have a photo of him with his sisters in 1904). This means
Cecilia is not too far behind in age. Anyone? Most likely she re-married but I would love to find out if there were children (FAMILY!).
