Adelord Carroll Davis b. 1928 married Claire Edwards b 1930.

I would be interested in these families or any Davis, Tracy and/or Edwards family of Oxford county. Claire & Adelord "Cad" died young and have a 4 childen the youngest was only 5-1/2 at the time. She is 41 today and can't remember her mother and has never seen a photo of her. I wwould like to help her find out anything and find any family photos for her. Thanks

Does the person you are searching this family for know who her grandparents were? Both Davis and Edwards. I am from the town of Oxford and know some of the family. Adelford and Claire are buried in Riverside Cemetery Oxford behind the Congregational Church. Siblings of Claire if I am right were Elsa, Harlan, and Dean.

I have captured Obits for Clare and for Adelord and they are attached to this message. The Obits are from "The Lewiston Daily Sun", now known as the SunJournal. Clair's obit is from the Nov 22, 1975 edition and Adelord's is from the Sep 18, 1985. Clair's obit list siblings as Harlan, Faye, and Shirley.

a picture of the Ivan and June Tracy Edwards house. Now owned by Harlan or one of his family. It is on King Street Oxford.

Gladys Sirois is the mother of Lillian, Elric, Ann, Adelford and Charles. Elric died in 2006, Ann Gilman died in 2000. I think Lillian and Isabelle are both dead. Don't know anything about Charles. Elric was married to a Patricia Allen. Ann's husband is still alive and she had children and grandchildren. The girls were all graduates of Oxford High School. If interested I can go to the Historical Society and get copies of their graduation pictures from yearbooks. We also have some genealogy on the Tracy family.
