Tipperary - MARGARET SLOANE/SLOAN/SLONE/SLANE

Could anyone please help me in researching my g-g-grandmother who migrated over to Australia from Tipperary?

I was informed by my uncle that Margaret wasn't actually booked to come over, it was meant to be a female cousin of hers, but her cousin changed her mind about taking the trip at the last minute and Margaret used her ticket and came over instead.

If I remember correctly my uncle said she sailed out of Cork?

I would sincerely appreciate any assistance at all with researching her.

Kindest Regards Lisa Adams

The information I have to date is as follows:

Birth 1850 in Tipperary, Ireland
Death 23/4/1912 in Terang, Victoria

1870 Age: 20 Marriage to JAMES QUINN (Died 1871)
Victoria, Australia - NO CHILDREN

1874 Age: 24 Marriage to JOHN GILLESPIE
Victoria, Australia - 10 Children

Have you found her on a passenger list as that should give more information perhaps a placename in Tipperary and perhaps some family names.- Also I'm not sure if passenger ships went from Cork to Australia I understood most went from Liverpool or other ports in the UK.
Griffiths Valuation(land tax survey taken c. 1851 in South Tipperary) shows 10 entries for Sloane occupiers of land.
