Lohse & Granitz Families from Koshau, Thuringin

Might anyone be researching the Lohse & Garnitz families whose last residence listed on the ship's manifest in 1881 was Koskau?

August Lohse 48, Wilhelm 22, Wilhelmine 24, Caroline 14, and Friedrich 1 Left 27 May 1881 from Liverpool, England. Arrived in New York City, Castle Garden aboard on the ship City of Montreal, on Jun 22, 1881. (There is no listing for August’s wife Caroline (Garnitz) Lohse. Caroline apparently died before August and his children sailed to the U.S. in 1881.

Their destination was New York, but shortly after their arrival settled in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have further information on Wilhelmine, who married Charles Kunow, and Caroline, who married Otto Pechmann, both in Milwaukee, but not Friederich and Wilhelm. August died in 1897 in Milwaukee.

Interestingly enough it looks like their surname was spelled multiple ways ie, Lohse, Loose, Losie plus more.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Marv

Marv, I don't provide research-on-demand services, but based on your sketchy information, there are very strong matches to some of these folks in "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). I'll verify who they might be via an email request.
