MARRIED FLORENCE MILDRED SMITH -MAY 7, 1880 -SEPT. 20, 1959

IRA WILLIAM KILMON - 1890 - 1976
MARRIED MATTIE MAE KING - 1898 - 1991

GEORGE WASHINGTON KILMON - 1893 - 1968
MARRIED SAPHRONIA A. KING - 1902 -1980

THEY ARE BURIED IN CARMEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH CEMETERY, KINSALE, WESTMORELAND COUNTY, VIRGINIA.

I WAS TOLD THAT THESE KILMONS WERE BROTHERS.

Saphronia King Kilmon was the daughter of Arthur and Helen King. Arthur King's parents were George W. King and Dorethia Clark King.

Mattie Mae King, daughter of Arthur and Helen King married Ira William Kilmon.

I am not sure whether George Kilmon and Ira Kilmon were brothers; however, I do know that Sophronia and Matie Mae were sisters.

Richard Franklin Kilmon Sr. Was my fathers dad.My dad is the Jr. And he had 2 or 3 brothers Asa, Harvie and I think Ira.plus sisters.I can only remember one and that is Aunt Della. I too am looking up the family tree. I do believe it has been done and would like to know if it has been made into a family tree book. I would like to obtain a copy.

Richard Killman & family live beside them, I would think he could probably be a brother to Ira Sr.

Ira William KILMON/KILMAN was born 7 March 1890 Cople, Westmoreland, and George Washington KILMON/KILMAN was born 6 Dec 1893, Cople, Westmoreland. They are both sons of Ira William KILMON, Sr (born April 1862, Accomac Co, VA) and Martha "Mattie" BARNETT (born Oct 1861, Westmoreland). Ira W. KILMON and Martha BARNETT married 23 April 1885 Westmoreland Co., VA.

Richard KILMON was born 11 March 1872, Accomac Co., VA, the son of Ellis and Rachel KILMON. Richard married 3 June 1897, Westmoreland Co., Florence SMITH.

Ira W. KILMON, Sr. born 1862, Accomac, also had a father named Ellis, so I believe Ira Sr. & Richard may be brothers. That would make Ira William and George Washington nephews of Richard & Florence.
