My paternal grandmother's surname was Madsen and it is my understanding that she was from Denmark. Her married name was Gammeltoft-Callen. She had only one child, my father, Vagn Gammeltoft-Callen. Can we search this?

We know of a family of Gammeltofts that live in

the village of Henna in Jutland DK.

Could they be related to you? If you think so we

would be able to supply an e.mail address to contact

them.

My Great Grandfather was Christian Miller (Moller) born on 16 Sept 1857. I believe the county to be Thisted. His wife was Christena Marie Fodt Miller b 20 Feb 1868 in Denmark died in Nebraska USA 18 Feb 1909. They left Denmark some time in the 1880's for Nebraska, USA. Any help in locating birth place and ancestors is appreciated

Your post is old so perhaps you have the answers now, but, if not, please contact me. I have been researching the Barkers in England. Eric Barker was your grandmother's husband, though the marriage was brief I believe.
Kind regards,
David.

Hi,
Eric Barker was my second cousin, twice removed and unfortunately I know little about him. I assumed he divorced but have no details. I found a probable death in Middlesex, England, in June 1965. I don't know if he re-married.
Barker being a common name, I have failed to find out about Eric's brothers either. His mother, a Currall, was the main connection to my family.
