My Father Louis Martin Knudsen was born in Ringkobing.
My grandfather Martin Knudsen owned a bakery in Ringkobing.
My Mother was Carla Fangel from Arhus.
Any information on either parent would be great.

If the Carla Knudsen who died in Michigan on 15 Dec 1989 and was born on 11 Sep 1904 is your Carla, I have found her in Denmark.

Karla Fangel was born in Vejlby, Hasle, Aarhus on 11 Sep 1904 to Jens Laursen Fangel and Olga Nielsen, opslag 95 nr 20.

The family can be found in the 1906 Vejlby census, opslag 91 and 92.

When she came to the US in 1928 she said that she was going to her brother Charles in Detroit. Charles Johannes Fangel was born 16 Dec 1902 in Vejlby, opslag 80 nr 19. He came to the US in 1923 and was going to his uncle Carl Fangel in McAllister, Oklahoma.

From the 1906 census we also find that Carla has these addition siblings. Laurids Jensen Fangel born 17 Mar 1899 in Vejlby and Martha Ovea who was born in 1901 but I can't read the exact date.

I will try to do somemore research for you tomorrow.
