First...A quick note to anyone that plans on posting a message on this board. Please include dates and places along with names in your queries. It will only waste others time is you are vague. Thank you.

Now for the bible info. It was very old, ripped and hard to read so some dates/names may be altered a bit. Sometimes 1 7 look alike, S J, etc.

I found a family bible of Irwins in PA. It starts with William Irwin b. 5-20-1775 married Mary b. 4-23-1781

Sarah b. 4-1-1815 d. 11-25-1819
Martha b. 4-11-1817
Thomas b. 11-10-1818
Susannah b. 11-6-1820
Mary b. 9-9-1822
Catharine b. ?-9-1824
Wilson b. 10-1-1826
Taylor b. 3-28-1831

William Taylor m. Esther Sensor 12-9-1852

Martha Irwin m. Je??e Parsons 9-27-1833

That is all that was written it. Since finding it, I have learned more about this line. The "Mary" refered to above was Mary Taylor. Her husband William Irwin was the son of John Irwin b. 1-3-1749/50 possibly in Ireland. He married Sarah Iddings on 8-25-1774 in PA. John was the son of William B. Irwin b. 1728 in N. Ireland. He married Isabella Feirs b. about 1749.

I am still researching on William B. Irwin. Please contact me if this is your line and remember none of this info is set in stone =) shaelipsey@hotmail.com

None of the names sound familiar, although I see they were in the 1800's. My father said that his father was from Bangor County Down Northern Ireland. I have entries about my Irwin's in previous messages. His name was Charles Randolph Irwin, I. Even though my dad said that, I have information of him living in Brick Meeting House, Cecil County, MD. Ring any bells? Thanks. Sorry, I don't have any dates on the earlier Irwin's. Charles the I was married to Elizabeth J. Russell from Chadds Ford, PA.

It was interesting that you list a Je??e Irwin. My husband's grandfather was Jesse Lewis Irwin of Lancaster County Pa. Unfortunately, this is all the data I have on him. He farmed in the Quarryville area and there are two other farms that were owned by family. However, his widow and children (now 92 and 60-70 years old) have no idea of his family. Any help would be appreciated to enable me to put together my husband's family tree. I do know that this Jesse died in the 1940's.

My husband's father William Frederick Irwin was from Harrisburg Pennsylvania. He was born approx. 1905. His parents were either Edgar or Edward Irwin and his mother was Mabel Walker. There are still many Irwins living in Harrisburg. I believe my Father-in-law was born in West Virginia though.
