I am looking for anyone who is related or has any information on Patrick Farrelly. He was born in Ireland in 1770 and settled in Meadville, PA. He married Gen. David Mead's daughter, Elizabeth, and was a Congressman.

The fathful consort & the parent mild;
Not from this fate could all her virtures save

Thy husband still thy rising form woulf hail
To guard his children & to sooth his woes."

Good Day,
I have a gr.gr.gr.grandfather Patrick farrelly(farley) who came to america. I believe he had a nephew by the name of Patrick farrelly who was the son of Nicholas Farley of Co.Meath Ireland I understand that Patrick lived in Haverstraw,N.Y. after coming to America and then later moved with his family to Pa. His Grandfather was a Patrick Farrelly from Co. Meath Ireland and died in 1780. This gentleman was my 4th great grandfather.I have been to his grave in Castletown,Ireland. and he was a grandfather to James A. Farley,the postmaster general for Pres.Roosevelt.
If this is any help. let me know. Jayne
