I don't know of any information that I have, that might be of use to you, but I do know some of the frustration you must be having, trying to trace your Manley line. I have quite a few Manley's that are in my family history, and most of them seem to have settled in Boone County, Arkansas. You might try there. My great great grandmother was a Sara (Sary) Manley, another name was Elizabeth Manley, Charles William Manley, Delphie Manley and Harvey Manley, oh, I could go on and on. But, it would just add to the confusion. So, if any of these names ring a bell, I would be glad to send you what information I have. Most of my Manley's seems to have come from Tennessee. Kristie... My cousin, Susan, was a Manley and in trying to locate my brothers and my-self she obtained quite a lot of informa-tion, i.e., our grandmother or great grand-mother was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. Georgia Kelley was our grandmother's name and she married Lanier Manley. Susan's e-mail address is proservdirect@cs.com; she lives in Tennessee. My mother died in 1969 and her father died in 1988.

Hope this helps you; since before Susan found us I'd wished to know more about Mama's family (we were around Dad's family but never knew any of Mama's while growing up). Susan and I have even talked of going to Ireland to search for more info.

Kristie, Were you able to get the information you need on your Manley family in AR. I am also researching the Manley's but not in AR. However I have family from my husbands side in Boone and Marion Counties in AR. I know from my research there, that there is a Manley Cemetery and a lot of Manley's in both of the Counties. If you have trouble finding information in there websites please contact me and I will be glad to help you. Judy

I too have Manley roots in Arkansas. Specifically Lee Robert Manley, son of Charles Manley. They were related to the Cagle famiy also. I have very little on these lines and would appreciate any help!
