I'm trying to track down records for my family that came from the Czech Republik and was there until WWII. My grandmother was born in Iglau, but she said the catholic church was bombed so there are no more records there. I'm trying to see if anyone knows where to go to access records from Znaim or Znomol where my great grandmother, last name Prinz, was born?

Do you know if Lechwitz was or is in the Czech Republik under a different name now?

(click on gazetter and picture cards, type a name of window )

May be you can find it as "Lechovice" on south east of Czech republic, near city Znojmo.
