A little help please people

Hi,

Just need a bit of help really.

Tracing the Grist family,

Found my great grandfather Alfred J Grist on the 1911 census with his parents (William and Emma) and three siblings (on this census it says 4 children born and still alive)
When I find the parents on the 1901 census only 1 of the children is of the same name but the parents are the same (marriage and birth dates) ? The were on this census as Priel (wrongly listed)

Also when I try and trace the marriage of William and Emma, it's listed as Wales as the location but when I view the record it states Gravesend! Is this just bad luck in all the mistakes?

If anyone could help that would be wonderful

Thank you
