The Storeys/Storys intermarried with the Brooks, Cobb and Pratt families of Warren and Walton County, Ga

My specific area of interest now is a Mary Story who married a William Kitchens; when he died she married John Brooks. I want to find documentation regarding her parents and marriage to John Brooks.

The second area of interest is in Samuel Gaines Story/Storey who married Winifred Brooks. Several researchers online have listed her as the daughter of RWS James Brooks and born in SC. I question that they have the right James Brooks... or possibly she was the daughter of a Jacob Brooks who died by 1787 in GA. I have a theory that she was the sister of Balaam Brooks b. 1782 for the following reasons:

1.) Winifred and Samuel did not live anyplace close to RWS James Brooks - she is not in his will.
2.) Samuel G. Storey bought land from (my) James Brooks b. circa 1769 -
3.) my James Brooks sold land to Henry T. Burnley ( son-in-law of Samuel G. Story...
4.) Samuel G. Story and Winifred Brooks Story named a daughter Falba or Falby. My James Brooks was married to Falby Cobb Brooks
5.) Samuel G. Story and Winifred Brooks Story had a son named James and a daughter named Jane Ann. (My James Brooks mother was Jane May)
6.) Jane Ann Story married James Cobb Perryman - the nephew of Falby Cobb Brooks.

I see a great deal of involvement between the Story family in Warren and the James Brooks - Falby Cobb Brooks family of Warren and later Walton.

This is my line:
John Brooks, Jr.
James Brooks and Falby Cobb
Jacob Rutledge Brooks b. 1806 and Rebecca J.I. Sappington
Martha Brooks and E. McDonald (Pike County, AL)
etc.

Do you have the children of James Brooks and Falby Cobb. My husband is related like you are down to Rebecca Mcdonald who married William Johnston.
Did John Brooks marry Jane May?
