Looking for anyone that has heard of a Naurosto or Namosto. Ship manifest lists a somewhat illegible city name of Naurosto/Namosto for my ggfather and his brother. Their last name was Uhlarik. When I asked my 91-year old grandfather the city that he was from, he said that he has a picture that says Nomastola on the back of it from his father.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for the quick reply. My Uhlarik and Bakos families did not arrive together in the United States, nor did they get married or meet until they arrived, which is why I had not assumed that they'd be from the same or close to each other regions in Europe.

The reason that I posted this message here, and not the Slovak Republic board was because My grandfather had insisted that he was from Czech.
