Need information for my family tree. Any information on William McMoore who went to American Samoa would be greatly appreciated.

This is a rare name, at least it is to me. My brother-in-law's mother's maiden name was McMoore. I can find out if he knows of a William McMoore and I will reply soon! God Bless,

hi are you asking for info on william mcmoore the 1st 0r the 2nd becouse one is my great grandfather and the other is my grandfather. i dont know much on william mcmoore the 1st but i know a lot on the 2nd.

Either on is fine--William the 1St is my mother-in-laws great-grandfather and William the second I believe is her grandfather.

I am trying to do the family tree for my children. And any information would be greatly appreciated as I am having a hard time getting some information.

Have been reading all past messages re McMoore family out of A Samoa. I have just started my research on my fathers side. I tried to access your website for the McMoore family but did not have any luck - has the address changed?
My great grandmother was a Pepe McMoore who married Faafiufiu Fiu in Leone, Tutuila in 1890. I'm assuming its all the same family. Can you help steer me in the right direction. thanx.

My Great grandmother is Pepe - married to Fiu. They meet in Nuie. Pepe's Father took her seeking medical help for her hand. They fell in love. Pepe was the eldest child to William McMoore. We have Pepe's brothers & sisters names. Pepe had 2 kids, Samoa & Iva. Iva moved to New Zealand.
My Grand mother is Samoa. She married Saini Sue(From Western Samoa). They had 8 kids. Their House is located in Leone - across the street from Faasao (?!) Girl School. That is where Great grandma Pepe & my grandparents are buried.
Their Kids: Faagi, Faena, Mekione, Pepesina, Miliamu(adopted to Iva in NZ), Papani (deceased), Violeta, Benjamin & Eseta(deceased).
My generation. We have a total of 20 grand kids ( Mili has kids in New Zealand..I only know Fiu)
Next generation. 6.

My husband's great grandmother is Pepe's sister. The house across Faasao Girls School. I have been there on my trips to Samoa. Well, actually next door.
Do you have date of births of Pepe and her siblings? I have been forever trying to figure out the date of birth and place of birth. Samoa is your grandmother--so who are your parents?
You mentioned Samoa had 8 children, but nine are listed in your list? I am trying to finish this family tree for my children--but getting information is really difficult--especially if you don't know where to start. I have some information but still a long way to go. My name is Gina and I live in NZ. My mom and dads name is Salaifna and Ikimaga Manukuo - parents born in Niue Island, I was reading in your email and saw my aunties name mekione tanaki who lives in hakupu niue island.....how bizarre......if this is the same mekione then this is my moms real sister I know that she was adopted out to a family in Avatele Niue. My mums maiden name is Tau and has a brother who lives in Pago Pago Ben Tau who was just here in NZ visiting....It is very interesting to see how we are all linked up...Anyway just wanted to say Fakalofa Lahi Atu
