Looking for any grandchildren or other relatives of Calvin N. Ross, born June 21, 1853, died March 16, 1923, buried in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg, Blair County, PA. Calvin had at least three wives; Amanda Cashman, Edith Bookhamer and Florence (last name unknown). I am a grandson of Calvin Ross and his relationship with Edith. I never knew my grandfather as he died before I was born. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with knowledge of any of the above information.

Do you know the names of his grandparents or parents? My husband's gggrandmother Maria Ross (1821-1886) m William Harnish are also buried there. I believe Maria's mother's name to be Nancy according to 1850 census.

I don't have any information on Ross, I am actually interested in the Bookhamer. I don't know how common that last name was then, but I have a Bookhamer family that I am trying to find info on, so if you know anything about this family please let me know. I am looking for an Elmer Harry Bookhamer. Thanks.

Susan Bowman: Thanks for the information. I need some additional information.
Could you give me the dates and any other information that might have been in the cemetery book about Calvin Ross. Is there any other information about Florence? Also can you give me the location of the the grave and if possible tell me just where in the cemetery that section is located.

Also, can you give any additional information about Amos,Bessie,Nancy, William and Nancyetta. I don't know how they connect with Calvin. I have no record of any of these Ross's.

How are you connected with the Ross family?

Thanks for all your efforts and I hope to hear from you.

This is a large cemetery in Hollidaysburg, Blair Co. In section D lot 266 is Calvins N. Ross. It just states in the book b 1853 interred 3/19/1923 . In the same plot is Amos b 1881 i 11/17/1959 & Florence b 1863 i 3/4/1933. My mistake, Bessie Stump Ross is in D 470 b 1904 i 1/1/1935
My husband descend's from Nancy Ross d 1868 , through her daughter Maria m William Harnish. In the same plot as Nancy( A 76) is William E. age 14 yrs no dates and Nancyetta Harnish Ross no dates. I don't know the relationship, maybe her other children? She resides with Maria & William Harnish in the 1850 census, so her husband must be deceased by then.

I have found that Nancy's husband was George Ross, I have no other info except he must have died before 1850. Do you know if Thomas had a brother Ross? They would have been abt. the same age.
