Hello Yvette,
I'm sorry about just now emailing you,but I don't read the message boards very often. This e-mail address is my job you may email me here or at home. My email address at home is amalone4@aol.com. Yeah I know its been two months but please excuse the oversight and the lengthly time that has passed. I would love to share some info with you. I've read a few of your message boards regarding Albartis my records show they are one and the same. I believe there is some mis information about this birthday but the rest is true. I have legal documents where he purchased Gracie his slave and copies of court records where they went to court and fought over his estate with family members. Please feel free to e-mail me at work or home Yvette.
Thanks
Anita

I was going through the message boards and saw your reply to someone else concerning Albartis Arnwine. Would it be possible for you to provide me with a way to obtain the records concerning Gracie and himself. Thank you for any help you can give.

This is so very interesting. I'm related to Albartis and Gracie. Her grandson wrote a slave narrative and talks about his life in Rusk when his grandfather Albartis was still alive and also talks about the fight over the land that was denied Gracie after Albartis promised it to her.

The link is too long to post so the best way to do this is to Google "Stearlin Arnwine slave narratives" and follow the prompts.

Please e-mail me if you wish regarding anything about Albartis Arnwine. Thanks.

None of the queries or answers mention location or time. Is this Albartis Arnwine the one b. in NJ, d. in PA in 19th century, md. in either state to Rachel Robbins?
If so, I'd appreciate info on his parents and her family background.
