The Van Vranken's had a photography studio in Winona, MN back in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

Mrs. Gertrud Van Vranken
Mrs. Gertrud Van Vranken, 81, 77 E. King St., died Saturday morning in Community Memorial Hospital after several months of illness.

A lifelong resident, she was born April 2, 1895, to Fred and mary Maas in Winona. She married J.I. Van Vranken February 2, 1943. She was a member of St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the church's sewing circle and Winona Business Women.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Her husband, four brothers and a sister have died.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Martin Funeral Home with Rev. A. V. Deye officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Monday at the funeral home one hour before the service. Memorials should be directed to St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
