I am looking for immigration records or any info on the family of James Peacock b.1809 and his wife Jane Walker b.1812. I believe they immigrated from East Kilbride, Lanark, Scotland to West Farms, Westchester, New York sometime between 1841-1849.
They came with children William b. 1832, Jane b. 1835, and Mary b. 1841. They later had a son John B. Peacock who was born in West Farms. John B. Peacock b. 1850 would later marry Adelaide S. Skinner from Puerto Rico.

That sounds like a thread from my tree. I have a James Peacock who emigrated from Scotland, but am not sure where. They're on the 1950 census in Rye, NY (20 miles from W Farms) with their 4 children" Wm (b. 1832), Jane (b 1835), Mary (b.1841) and John B (b.1850).

I don't have much, except that Jane W married Conrad Bishop and remained in Westchester Co NY for a time. If you have any other information it would be appreciated!
