My granfather was Roscoe Charles Gaillard born in Al. His mother is Tempie Newton and is father was a William Penn Gaillard. I believe his father is Billie Penn. From what I am told he may have been from somewhere in South Carolina. I am looking for anyone that may have any info or connection to this family.
thanks

My grandmothers maiden name was Gailliard. She died in 1986 when I was only 8 so I didnt know her very well. I do know she was originally from South Carolina where she attended college before moving to mason county ky and was married to my grandfather Stanley Fritz. I wouldnt have replied but the fact that your ancestor was thought to be from South Carolina, I felt compelled to reply because Im sure there is some connection there. The Gailliard name is not common as most hail from the South Carolina area. Feel free to contact me at aaronrigdon87@yahoo.com as we may be long lost relatives.
