How to export Reunion into Gedcom

My grandson is doing a family history project. His mother asks if I can put my reunion files into a Gedcom and send them to him.I have online instructions but it doesn't work. First - mark the person to start with. I assume that means highlight one of the family members (I chose my grandson) and then click Mark. I get a screen that has options (mostly greyed) and I keep clicking MARK. The instructions say I should get something that says CLOSE, but I get nothing like that. Just that Mark page. I'm feeling frustrated. I must have done something wrong but I'm only on step ONE!

Hi

to export a gedcom,

1) - Go into File.
2) - select Import/Export.
3) - select Export Gedcom.
4) - select EITHER "All people" or 'marked'.
5) - click Export and select destination. (I always put it on the desktop to start with, easier to find.

Your grandson will need software to read the gedcom.

hope this helps

Glad to help, I use reunion on my mac and sync with my iPad, but it does take a bit of getting your head round.

Good luck
