FYI: The foreword for "Marriages of Amelia County, Virginia, 1735-1815" provides some history of the formatio of Amelia County.
Amelia County "was formed from Prince George and Brunswick in 1735 (1734)." "At the meeting of the General Assembly on August 8, 1734, an Act was passed for the formation of Amelia County and reads in part: That from and immediately after the twenty fifth day of March, now next ensuing...."
There is a possiblity that records of Solomon exist in Prince George County and/or Brunswick County.
I know this isn't exactly the information you requested, but I hope some of it is helpful. I will keep my eye out for Solomon.
