Hi
I presume you've found Martin, Kate & Lizzie McEvoy on the 1911 census?
Have you seen, on IrishGenealogy.ie, the marriage of George Dixon to Elizabeth Quincey, + baptisms for 3 sons and 4 daughters? The couple moved around quite a bit, as is evident from the baptism info.
I note from the 1901 census that Elizabeth Dixon nee Quincey was born in Wicklow, and if you look on that census, you will see that there is a Richard Quincey, born Wicklow, + family living in Dundrum - a brother, perhaps?

According to familysearch.org, there was also a William Dixon born Dublin 8 December 1876; a child born in Dundrum 2 Oct 1871 (no name/sex), and another child born in the Workhouse, Rathdown 26 Nov 1874.

Good luck with your search!
Colette

Sorry I can't help much, the address you have is spelled Dominick Street, which is in the city centre.
Don Quay is not correct, perhaps it is Eden Quay? this is also on the river Liffey in the city centre.
Being C.O.I could help your search. try 1911 census and put in this information.
The DED for Lr. Dominick is Rotunda when searching census. if you try this area you may find others living nearby.

Hi Colette,
Yes, the reply was meant for you.
Thank you again for getting back to me once more and for the information about George Dixon still living at Grenville Street in 1939/40 and for the 2 websites.
Margaret Hart may be a hard one to find !
I'm so thankful for members in Ireland like you !
Thank you again.
With Much Appreciation,

Margaret ( Canada)

Hi again
Found the marriage on familysearch.org of MARGARET DIXON to PATRICK JOSEPH HARTE, as follows:

Ireland, Civil Registration Indexes, 1845-1958

name: Patrick Joseph Harte

registration district: Dublin North

event type: MARRIAGES

registration quarter and year: Jan - Mar 1914

volume number: 2

page number: 512

digital folder number: 4199364

Margaret Dixon's details are exactly the szme, so a match! You can purchase this record from the GENERAL REGISTER OFFICE, ireland (google for details) if you want. This will give fathers & sponsors names, + the Church they were married in + info about what they worked at.

I looked for Patrick Hart(e) on the 1911 census, but there are a number with that name. You'd really need the marriage cert to find his father's name, and therefore the family on both the 1901 & 1911 censuses.

I then checked the 1939/40 Electoral Rolls again, and found a Patrick & Margaret Harte living at 12 Georges Place North (which is on the North side of Dublin).

Hope this info helps!
Colette
