I believe my ggrandmother was Zinnie Fatheree buried in Sharon Cemetery in Winn Parish Louisiana. My grandfather was Wiley Jackson Johnston, Zinnie being his mother. I don't know the Johnston that she would have married.Both my maternal and paternal lines come from Winn/Grant Parrish Louisiana. I never knew many of them because I hit the road as a teen in the great hippie migrations of the late 60's and early 70's. Now I long to reclaim my ancestors. Anybody have any info they could share with a prodigal son? Thank you

I believe that the woman you are trying to locate is Sennia E Johnston. Born 1872.I am of the Johnsotn-Fatheree clan and I have records that date back to 1850-Catahula Parish with William Fautherree born in Mississippi. Does that help u any?

Do you know who the parents of William Fatheree who married Caroline Branch in MS then ended up in Winn Parish, LA, are? Seems to me half the Fatherees are named either William or Hillyard!

My earliest records show that my Family is decendant from Levi Fatherree, who had 9 son's living when he died, but thinks he came from Virginia to South Carolina then moving on to Ms, then la. Does this help u any?

I am looking for Sidney Pearce Fatheree, born in Winn Parrish, LA in 1892. I can find him in 1910, but not in 1900 Census. Is he part of your LA Fatheree's . I would appreciate any info I can get.
