I am looking for information on Cavanaugh's from northern Ireland. May have migrated south to Dingle, County Kerry. Immgrated to America around 1900-1903 departed from Liverpool and entered through Ellis Island. Settled in Florida. Thank you

hello, this may be a wild goose chase but you never know. some of my ancestors were named cavanaugh and were from ireland but i don't know where. the name is michael cavanaugh and he was supposed to have arrived in the states in the 1850's. he travelled across the country and finally settled in leavenworth, kansas. he and some of his family also lived in platte county, missouri (just across the state line from kansas. he was a stone mason. he might have been from ballylea, co. wexford, ireland. any information would certainly help. thanks in advance.
