We just got the first part of our family tree DNA results. My husband's earliest Jefferson relative is Isaac Jefferson born in 1792 in Delaware. He married Sarah Groves and they eventually ended up I. Henry County MO.
Does anyone know who the group administrator is for the Jefferson surname project for FamilyTree DNA?
We don't seem to have a match yet I. The first 12 positionsbutwe did get the 67 kit. Anyone out there who has taken these tests?

My husband's line is

Isaac Jefferson born 1792 in Delaware and married Sarah Groves in 1816 in Delaware.

They moved to Kentucky by 1820. They had 6 children: Richard, Thomas, Warrol, Mary, Elizabeth and Ann. Only Thomas married to Louisa Dunaway. They only had two children Isaac Richard and William.

Isaac Richard is my husband's great grandfather. His son Thomas Ulmont Jefferson is his grandfather and his father is Thomas Bradley Jefferson.

Do any of these people sound familiar?

Nope. Sorry. I know its frustrating! I meant to say my haplogroup was I2b1 and not i1b2. I havr founf similar matches in wales. This number may change tho as its a prediction and a low one at that!
