Surnames: Knott , Riggsbee, Crabtree, Holder, Stanley
Hi

I was working on the Knott lineage - specifically to prove/disprove the Indian Heritage stories passed down. Specifically, I am told that the Great grandmother or perhaps Great great grandmother was pure Indian and was born on a reservation. Eliza Stanley (Elizabeth Louisa Stanley Crabtree) is as far as I can get. I am told that her daughter was indian (Isabella Riggsbee) - but not 100% sure story is true?
If anyone has any insight - would be GREATLY appreciated. I know this is long shot but thought I would try! :) Samantha

Isabelle Rigsbee daughter of Washington and Eliza Stanley Crabtree. Isabelle was born about 1858 and died 14 Mar 1932. She is listed as white. She is buried in the Stanley cemetery. Further info she was widowed from J.W.D. Rigsbee.
