Blessings ALl,
I am trying to locate my ancestors from Alabama:

Charles Evans (birth-date unknown) married Bammar (maiden name unknown born about 1853) Evans. They had 5 children one, a son by the name Pat or Patrick Evans(born about 1877-1879) who married my g. grandmother Amy McCoy Evans(born 1882 died 1962.

I did find her obituary here: http://genealogytrails.com/kan/crawford/obits7.html

Evans, Bammar

"Mrs. Bammar Evans, aged 56 years, wife of Charles Evans, died at the home at Curranville yesterday afternoon at 6:45 of dropsy.
The funeral was held from the home this afternoon at 3 o'clock and interment was made in the Yale cemetery.
Deceased leaves a husband and five children, one a son, Pat Evans, living in Curranville and the other four in Alabama."
[Pittsburg Daily Headlight, Tuesday, November 2, 1909, p. (2).]

I have not been able to find them (Charles, Bammar and Pat (Patrick) in any census records and I don't know what county in Alabama they are from. I have also not been able to find any records on Amy McCoy Evans in Alabama records Is any one researching this family?

Hi there,
I looked at the actual obit on the website you provided and it says that everyone listed is buried in Yale Cemetery in Missouri.
So,perhaps you might want to look at Missouri censuses.

Surnames: Re: Patrick Evans (Slaves)
Blessing seglanglois,

They lived in Curranville KS. I am trying to find them in the ALabama census where they are from so I can identify the other 4 children of Bammar Evans. Also Amy McCoy Evans (who married Pat Evans) Bammar Evans son is not in any census from Alabama and she was born there.

Thank you for checking
Donna
