There are two in Domažlice region, but I guess the one you´re looking for is in Klenčí pod Čerchovem parish.

Hi Delores

The name of Kozina the famous rebel was really Jan Sladky. He lived in Ujezd u Domazlic in the house who called " u Kozinu". He was also called by house Jan Sladky-Kozina.
It can be that your Kozina ancestors were from another village of Chodsko region.
My wife has the family Kozina between her relatives.
Contact me directly to: a.kondry(et)volny.cz

All the best. Tony.

Hi Tony,

My emails will not go through. My immigrant ancestor was Thomas Kralovec, a grandson of Michael Kralovec & Magdalina Kozina of Petrovine 17. See my post on Thomas Kralovec. Magdelina Kozina-Kralovec was the daughter of John Kozina Ujezd 5 & Madaline (name)? from ? I do not have the marriages of Michael Kralovec or John Kozina. I have found The marriage record of Thomas, see Kralovec post update. the Kovarik line also has Kozinas

Hi Delores.
Ujezd village was the part of parish Trhanov after 1785. Unfortunately it is still not online. It is necessary to travel to Plzen to archives for to research of this parish registers.
The wedding records can be there.

All the best from Bohemia.
Tony.

Hi Delores.
You are right, but Kolenda is wrong transscription - right must be Kalenda (or Kallenda). Same is in Mliziva - right must be Mleziva (or Mlesiva). This families are still living in Mrakov parish.

All the best. Tony.

Hello Delores,

George Kozina, b. 13 Feb 1759, would be my 5th great grandfather. Are you also related to him? My e-mail address is: neargbwi@gmail.com

Have a Great Day,
