A Christopher Stewart 1775-1864 in Westmoreland Co. Pa. had a father named Archibald b. abt. 1750 in Ireland.
Christopher Stewart moved with his wife and family to Donegal Twp. Butler Co. Pa. in 1795. Could this this be Achibald mentioed here? Or does anyone have any information about these Stewarts

You would be hard pressed to find parish records that early in Ireland.

The earliest land records are 1820-1839 The Tithe applotments

The Stewarts would probably have come from Scotland during
the 'plantation' of Scots farmers in Ireland.
