There was an actress named Katharina Schratt who is linked with Franz Joseph of Austria. She would have been in her 30's around 1880's. Hope this helps.

I don't know much - only stories I was told as a child. My grandfather Leonard Schratt came from Oberammergau Germany - left early 1900 (01, 02?). He build a small castle called Ammerburg there (still there). According to my mother (his daughter - born 1911 - now deceased) he was related to Katherina Schratt - I seem to remember great aunt. He had four children - all dead now (Ada, Cecelia, Frank and Ernest) - wife was Barbara. I have three sisters and one brother - many cousins. Any connection?

Mrs. Rosa Müller Schratt was my grand mother. She had an antiques shop in the Himmelpfortgasse in Vienna, spent some years in Chicago where she started a trade with "petit point" hand bags. She had a luxurious appartment in Wallnerstraße in an old Palais. She died in 1953 in Vienna and is burried in the Hietzinger Friedhof near Schönbrunn. She was married to Dr. Müller a jewish general practitioner who immigrated in 1938 to the United States. Rosa was a niece of Katharina Schratt. Her father was a brother of Katharina Schratt, the actress and friend of Emperor Francis Joseph, their family originates from St.Georgen am Längsee in Carinthia.
