With regard to finding someone with the hints from ancestry and merging them into my Family Tree Maker, I used to be able to click on each individual member and merge them seperately. Now, it won't let me do that. Is this something that changed, or is it just not working? This has been very inconvenient, as sometimes the other people never show up, and I could have just merged them all at once. Thanks for any help.

This has been going since about Aug 9, and is maddening.

Ancestry knows about it and say they "are working on it."

Are you still working on your Sandoe folks? I talked to
both you and your grandfather Wib some years ago. I'm
trying to find more on Jennie Straley Sandoe Shaffner.
I found her in the 1910 Hagerstown census living with
her step-son Charles Shaffner and others. She was listed
as widow. Do you know her 2nd husband's first name and
where they lived? Also, do you know where she's buried
and what's on her stone? Anything you know about her
would help. Thanks.

Unfortnately, I think that is all the info that is out there. I don't know anything about her second husband, nor where she is buried. Like you, I've been trying to find out. Sorry, but let me know if you find anything.
