Lysacek family

Hello

Looking for info on my grandfather Joseph Lysacek. The ship manifest sat he came to the U.S. in 1902. The ship he was on was the U.S.S.Neckar. He came from SV Sidonie although his declaration of intention says Austria. His parents Frantisek Lisacek and Anna Lisacek. I guess the family lived in Bilnice Nr 36 (not sure what that means). Not sure but is Sidonie Czech Republic?

Thank You
Monica

You are so in luck! It looks like the relevant books are out on actapublica. Svatá Sidonie is in the Brumov na Blaře books, along with Bylnice. If Josef was 27 in 1902, then he was born about 1875. That is book 4028 in the Brno archives. It even has an index. However, the Josef Lisáček that I found is in Bylnice house 55, not 36. See the two attached pictures, the first of the index, the second of the actual record. And here is the link to that page in the book.

His birthday is February 25, and his father is Jiři, the equivalent of George. Does that match yours?

Hello

Thanks for responding according to my records Joseph birthday 1/28/1875. But there could be a error in dates.
I recieved sone info awhile back that says Bilnice Nr 36. His father Frantisek Lisacek mother Anna Senkenik daughter of Frantisek Seneknik from Navojna(Parish Nedesov) Joseph came to the US around 1902. I assumed the person who gave this info got it from Church records. It could be a few Lisaceks just very close?? Monica
