From the information that I have found, Samuel's parents are James Plant and Fannie ?. James was also married to a Sarah Thompson. Is Mary Jane Plant, Samuel's daughter, the Mary Jane that married Noah Winemiller? I have looked everyplace trying to find her father and mother. I was born in W.Va. daughter of Fred Winemiller, I have lived in Houston, Texas for almost 25 yrs.

Yes, Mary Jane Plant is the same Mary Jane who married Noah Winemiller. I have heard stories for years about "Uncle Milford." I would love to share those with you as well as other Winemiller information. I finally found the proof of Mary Jane's parents on the marriage record of one of her sisters. I attended the family reunion in Gilmer County a few years ago.

Joy, you didn't say if that was Samuel's parents or not. I hope it was. I have an e-mail address:athaleecaldwell@cs.com
Thanks for verifying Grandma Mary Jane. I had looked ever so many places for her. Also, I can't find very much on Annastein Taylor but I have the male side of the Winemillers back to Hans Frederick, born in 1600.

Their daughter, Versa Ethel Winemiller married Marshall Emerson Nicholas, and my motherr was Iva Murrel Nicholas Lipe. My mother used to speak of an Uncle Fred. Could this be your Fred??
