Lydia was born around 1750, probably near Bridgewater, MA, the daughter of Henry Chamberlin 1718 and Susanna Hinds. She was the fourth born among 11 children. Her lineage goes back to the immigrant Henry Chamberlin, the blacksmith: Lydia (6), Henry (5), Henry(4), Henry (3), Henry (2), Henry (1) born about 1592 in England. Much is known of this pedigree. Additional information on the lineage can be obtained by contacting the World Chamberlain Genealogical Society, www.chamberlain-society.org/

Lydia Chamberlain and Isaac Scott had 11 children all born in Winchester, NH. Later lived in Scottsville, NY.
Philip, I have 10 children of Henry Chamberlain and Susanna Hinds : 1. John, b. 1742; 2. Lydia; 3. Hannah, b. 1746; 4. Henry, b. 1747; 5. Betsey, b. 1752; 6. Ebenezer, b. 1754; 7. Abigail, b. 1756; 8. Lucy; 9. Giles; 10. Hinds.
How does this compare with what you have? Who was the 11th? What is your source for Lydia's birth year?

Also Westmoreland, NH records has the marriage of Lydia and Isaac as Jan 7, 1768.
Hope this helps.

A death record for Lydia gives the date 27 Aug 1832 Scottsville, NY, age 82. I have the same children and dates for Henry and Susanna, except I have no Giles. Instead I have Elias b. abt 1759, and Rev. Calvin b. abt 1760. Hinds b. Sep 1765.
References I have for these individuals are: Prentiss Glazier's Chamberlain Families of Early New England and New York, Volume 1, 1973; Chamberlain Chain Vol. 15, p. 20; Chamberlain Key Vol. 2, No. 1, p. 17; Chamberlain Key Vol. 2, No. 2, pp. 32-33. The late David C. Chamberlin Sr. also had extensive notes on the family.
