I would appreciate any help that I can receive on the following family lines. I have a Hannah Johnson who was married to Conrad Staley. He died at Winter Quarters, IL. Hannah was born 31 Jul 1806 in Albany, New York and she died 27 Oct 1891 in Coalville, Utah. Conrad and Hannah had a son John Staley who was born 16 Aug 1841 in Grand Island, Canada and he died 10 Aug 1869 in Coalville, Utah. He was married to Sarah Wilde who was born 8 Nov 1843 in Southampton, England and she died 11 Nov 1876 in Coalville, Utah. Sarah was the daughter of Henry Brown Wilde who was born 11 Jun 1811 in Crowdhill, England and he died 23 Feb 1875 in Coalville, Utah. Henry was married to Sarah Hewlett who was born 25 Sept 1817 in Otterbourne, England and she died 26 Jul 1904 in Coalville, Utah. Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me. Steve

I have a substantial amount of information on the Wilde family in Summit County, starting with John Wilde, about 1754, and down to current day information. It constitutes about 20 pages on a FTM report. What is your connection to this line?

I am also looking for information on the Staley line. I am a descendent Conrad Staley and his first wife, Hannah Tripp. My records say they were married around 1825. Hannah Tripp was born in 1801 at Grand Island, Canada. She died in 1834 in Magnolia, Harrison, Iowa. She and Conrad had 5 children, all born in New York. Their son, Chester Staley is my ancestor. He died in Upton, Summit, Utah. Your ancestor Hannah Johnson must have married Conrad, after the death of Hannah Tripp. Interesting . . . I am puzzled about her dieing in Iowa---yet, he married his second wife (Hannah Johnson) back in New York again.

Hi Steven,
Hannah Johnson was a sister to my gg-grandfather William P. Johnson. I've got a great deal of information on the descendants of Hannah Elizabeth and William P. and a fair bit on Richard V., three of the siblings of Abraham Johnson and Hannah Wheeler. I should mention that I am very interested in finding the origins of Abraham and Hannah as everybody seems to get as far back as them but no further. If anybody is researching any of this line I would be pleased to hear from you.

Hi Gary,

My wife is Wendy Kay (nee Wilde), the daughter of Ren Nix Wilde & Verda Marie (nee Crittenden). Wendy was born and raised in the Hoytsville/Coalville area.

The line goes back through Charles Ernest Wilde & Della (nee Nix), Thomas Wilde & Fannie (nee Gunn), William Wilde & Eliza (nee Phillips), to John Wilde & Jane (nee Brown).

Any tie in?

It would seem that the marriage info is wrong.

I descend from Thomas Wilde son of john Wild"s son William. Did you research the records you have? Do you know if the Wilde organization research is available? Is this what you have?
