He is my Gr Grandfather -- so I recently discovered. Which part of the family are you descendent of?

Hello Sandra. I am descended from Michael's daughter Lucy Anguish (1861-1937). She married William Kopf (1847-1938). They had 8 children and their oldest, Susan Christine Koph (1881-1970)(note the change in spelling of the last name)is my ancestor. Susan married George Daniel Corliss (1878-1923) and they had only one child, my grandmother Florence. Michael Washington Anguish is my 3rd great grandfather.

From whom do you descend?

My maternal Grandmother was Mary (on early records as L Marry) born to Mary Hellreigel and Michael Anguish in 1898, eventually adopted by Thomas Reville. I'm newish and very part-time to this research but, have been discovered by "long lost" cousins that have done extensive research. I will have to look in their trees to see where Lucy falls in. Perhaps we could connect some other way that isn't on a public bulletin board? Feel free to message me if your membership allows.
