Tina,

I think your grandfather's other siblings may have been: Clifford, Lawrence, Woodward, Bernie, Pearly, and Tommy (m. Gertie).

If so, Clifford's father was James William Aynes who was born in Springfield Mo. He had nine siblings. JW's father was Henry Aynes, b. Mo.,lived in Ark. Indian Territory. Henry was an older brother of my great grandfather Joshua J. Aynes. It looks they may have moved their families to IT together. Henry was married to Nancy Jane Gordon. They appear on the cnesus of 1900 in the Cherokee Nation, Northeast of the Arkansas River. If the census record was correct, he was born around March 1846 in MO. and Nancy Jance was b. Dec. 1854 in Mo. The children are all born in Akr., meaning they must have moved from Ark. to MO. between l892 and 1900.

Henry's father was James Aynes who appears with his wife Martha on the 1880 census for Scott County, Ark. If that census is correct, James was born in 1817 in Indiana.
It is not clear (to me) if Martha was Henry's mother or stepmother.

If this is the family you are looking for and you want any additional information, please send me an e-mail and I will try to answer.

Hi Richard it has been a long time. I hope you are still on here. You had a few mix ups in the names. The children are Lawerence, WoodROW, Bennie Pearl (one person) Clifford, Tommie Bunion and Jessie Earl. Hope this helps. They are my Aunts and Uncles. Bennie Pearl is still living and Woodrow died at age 93 a few years back. Thanks Roberta Aynes-Marlow Please email me direct rmarlow3305@sbcglobal.net I discovered a HUGE Aynes find since I spoke with you several years back!!
