Hi,

Jean-Auguste Clouthier or Jean-Adolphe Clouthier married Guadelope Cañedo in México about 1850. He was a physician and came from Canada and
stayed in México for the
rest of his life. His is probably the ancestor of all Clouthiers in México.

I'm looking for the information on his marriage, the name of his parents and information on his descendants

Thank you

Roger

Is there a chance that the following Canedo family members may be related to your Guadalope Canedo?

My Canedo relative was Cipriano Canedo. He was from Guadalajara but came to Germantown, Pennsylvania, USA in the early 1800's. I assume he went to school in Pennsylvania or nearby area and became a medical doctor.

While in Germantown he met Margaretta Keyser (Her mother, Catherine Clemens Keyser and her mother's husband Peter Keyser were my ancestors.) whom he married on 12 September 1830. They had four children:
Cipriano, Margareta, Catherine and Louis.

For years, Cipriano provided the inhabitants of Ameca, Mexico with medical care at very little, or no cost to them.

Would very much like to learn more about this branch of my family and would like to meet present day descendants of Cipriano and Margaretta.
