but no exact date on marriage (1736-1769)or death (1736 - 1816 ).
Anna Dandridge born 1723, married someone first name Davey no last name
given ( 1737 -1770) death (1737-1817) and Sarah Dandridge (1760) death (1761-1854) no spouse

I have some info on their children and GG grand. Their dau Anne married Lewis Burwell.
They had a dau Panthea Burwell who marrid John Richard Boyd, but it dies after that and
they were to have children but I can't find the info to confirm who the children are, they are
suppose to be my GGG grand and I can't find anything after that. If you have anything that

I too am a Dandridge. My father was Ernest Carl Dandridge, born June 28, 1925, to Pearl Lee Mayfield and Ernest Claude Dandridge. Any chance you have any more information reguarding these two. Ernest Claude and Pearl Lee were married in 1907. He died in 1929, don't know where or burial. She died in 1961, supposed to be buried in Grand Prairie Texas.

I am not a descendant of the Dandridge family. My main interest in them goes back to the 1700's, with Martha Dandridge, wife of our first President- George Washington. Martha was a great-granddaughter of Gideon and Martha (Woodward) Macon. This Martha Woodward was a daughter of William Woodward, the Indian interpreter, of New Kent Co., Virginia. Her brother, Bartholomew Dandridge, seemed to be closely associated with my Woodward ancestors, so I suspect a possible relationship between them.

Thanks for the information. I've known for a long time about the relation to Martha Washington. I didn't know about her brother. That may prove a link which will help me prove my Indian ancestry. The European side of my family has been fairly well documented, but when the Europeans married with the natives some of the history got lost. But thanks again.
