Stephen Green abt 1770, from Yorkshire England, supposedly arrived in US with seven brothers, settled in North Carolina and had at least one son called Joshua. Any information would be appreciated.

Mr. Green, unable to reply to you from the Lewis board. Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I have the information you shared, and was hoping I could progress up from Noah. I in turn will try to look for your Green surname.

Hi
I just saw your message regarding Joshua Green. I have not been doing this to long but have some info. You may already have it. Joushua Green was my GGGGrandFather, as I understand it he married Elizabeth ? . They moved from Yancey Co N.C. to Wyoming Co. WV. It is beleived that his Father was Stephen Green, born @ 1775 sailed to America from Yorkshire England. This has not been confirmed for me,,yet. If you can help I would appreiciate it. I will gladly share info also.
I grew up near Huntington WV, but now live in NC. I have visited Yancey co N.C. Where Joshua and Elizabeth originated. My Dad grew up in MCdowell Co wv and my Mom in Wyoming Co. Her maiden name was Mullins,,,I hope we can help each other.
Thanks Dean Green

My name is Joanna and my ancestors are Stephen Green and his son Joshua Green, who was married to Elizabeth. My great-grandfather is Jasper Green, Jr. I have a copy of the family lineage that my Great-aunt Glenna created in '90s. I would be happy to send you copies of it.

I would be happy to talk to you about our lineage, as I am sure you are related to me. I have been trying to research Stephen and our ancestry in England.

I am interested in this line as well. I show my grandfather Clarence Green to his father, William Richard Green, back to his father Alfred Green, back to his father Joshua Green and trying establish him to his possible father Stephen Green. From there back I see listings connecting Stephen Green to Jeremiah Green II and Mary Polly Wiseman. Who were already in the US. Some listings say Stephen Green arrived from England which would then conflict with his possible parents already being in the US. Any thoughts? If this line can be established Stephen to Jeremiah then it would link to the Greene/De Greene/De Boketon family that goes back to England in the 1200s...
Any thoughts? thanks, Joe
