I am looking for some information for my father he is Eugene Allen Jennelle b:3/5/47
His father was Walter Calvin Jennelle died 4/00. My fathers grandfather was Walter Evans Jennelle
I am unsure when he was born or when he died. Most of the family history has been kept a secret and is fastly
dying off. If you know of these people please let me know. I do know that most of the civil war Jennelles are buried
in a plot in Blacksburg Virginia.
Thanks in advance...

Yes I know where the cemetary is and I have visited there a couple of times. Many of my family members are there. I know exactly where Bunny is......My dad is Eugene Jennelle, his brothers are Michael Stephen and Larry Craig--both are still in C'burg. I see Aunt Edith every once in a while and my mother (Elizabeth June Moye Jennelle) sees her twice a week and takes care of her and all her needs.
Lula's maiden name was Dairo--she is the mother of Walter Evans.
Email me if you want more info on the family, my mothers has many details.....hope to hear from you soon.

My grandparents are Walter Calvin Jennelle and Virginia Ellen Delp Jennelle---As far as I know he was raised in Christiansburg Virginia all his life, he worked as a Plumbing and Heat/Air Man. My grandmother was a nurse in Montgomery County. Both are deceased. My father is Eugene Allen Jennelle and his brothers are Michael Stephen and Larry Craig Jennelle, they are both still alive and live in the old home there in Christiansburg.
There are many ways to spell Jennelle...so good luck pinning one kind down, most of us are related. As far as I can tell they started breakingdown the spelling about Civil War time or just a bit sooner.....some are Journell, Jennell, Jenele, Jurnell. There is a Jennelle Cementary in Blacksburg on Jennelle Road--on Yellow Sulfur Springs Road......I have been there a couple of times......
I will do my best to help you, let me know if you think I have info......I will forward anything that I or my parents know....we have a book full of stuff.....
Thanks for asking
Hope we can hook up

I am a Jennelle I now live in Georgia but was born in Montgomery County Virginia, Blacksburg is the town I grew up in. There was a Calvin Jennelle living in Christiansburg and I feel if you look in the Montgomery County Phone Book for a Mike Jennelle you would find Calvin. I also think if you would get in touch with a Leonard Jennelle who is doing our ancestory in Blacksburg he could enlighten you some he is the care taker of the Cemetary Plot located on Jennelle Road. I wish you luck. Maybe we are a kin to one another. E mail me if I can help further. God Bless Diane

Bunny Jennelle is my great uncle. My Great Aunt Edith (the last living sister) just passed away this past November, 2006.

The greatest source for this family line is my parents Eugene (Gene) and Elizabeth (June ) Jennelle in Christiansburg. They were both raised in downtown Cambria which is in C'burg. She has gathered lots of info on this family over the last 7 years.

Lille M. Agnew is my great grandmother. My parents have some pics of grand and great grand parents.

THe Jennelles have had one reunion in the last 15 years that I know about and it has been quite some time.. my girls were very little and they are just about grown now.
