I am researching the Judd family that was in Maryland in the 1700's. They went to Kentucky in the early 1800's.

I have two Joshua Judd's. One is the son of my Daniel and Sarah (Fowler) Judd (my direct ancestors). He was born about 1741 in Harford County, MD. The other one is the grandson of Daniel and Sarah. He was born about 1767 in Harford County, MD. His father was Daniel Judd, a brother of the first Joshua that I mentioned. I really have no information on these Joshua's, but I have a great deal on some of the rest of the family. Let me know if you think we connect. I would be happy to share information with you. My Judd's ended up in Mason County, just south of Maysville. My last direct Judd was Phoebe Jane who died in 1907. She had married a Nower and lived in Dover, Mason Co., KY. Any way, let me know what you think. Lynn Koehler

None of your Judds sound familiar to me, although there are plenty of Daniels and Joshuas in out family. I don't know of any in Mason County, but if I find any any I will be sure to contact you. Thanks.

I believe we are drom the same Judd family. My ancestors are Perry L. Judd the son of Polly Nowland and James Judd of Mason County Kentucky. Perry L. Judd married Nancy West. They had ten children one of which is my great great grandfather Wesley Fletcher judd who was born in Clermont County Ohio on March 7, 1852. Pleasse contact me if this sounds familiar. I do know that James Judd died in the war of 1812 at Camp Meigs, thanks to another researchers notes.

Do you have any info on a Phebe Judd that married John Howard in Mason Co on 01/07/1832?

Thanks, T

I'm looking for the parents of Rezin Judd b. Dec 26 1798 in Mason County, KY. He moved to Clermont County, OH as a child. He had two brothers, Ezekiel and Corban. Is there any connection?

I am sorry, but I have no Judd's with those first names. I imagine, though, that your Judd's and mine are somehow connected.

I have record of a Phoeby M Judd 3rd born to Squire Judd and Sarah Shepherd on 14 nov. 1823 Adair Co. Ky. Maybe this will help. She is of the same age frame. I have no other records of her.

Was browsing and saw your reply message concerning the Judd family of Ohio. Alonzo Judd was my Great Grandfather. He operated a ferry on the Ohio river at Moscow, Ohio in Clermont County in the late 1800's. He had two daughters, Stella (Holland) and Cora (McCoy). I have additional information and a photo of Alonzo and his ferry if you're interested.
