Am looking for info on Stephen J. Killman who I believe was from Taney County, Missouri. He was born Feb 1853. Was married to Nancy Watson. Is there anyone out there with Killman Family who was located in Taney County. I'm at a dead end.

Dear Ann, Hi, I saw your posting and I am courious as to how are you related to Stephen "J" Killman? Are you sure that his middle name started with a "J"? The Stephen Killman that I am researching was also born in 1853, but his middle initial was "A". He was born, I believe, in TN. however his family soon moved to Monroe Co. KY. He had two younger sisters, Edney and Mary. He did live in Taney Co. for a while as did his sister, Edna Killman Thomason. (my gg grandmother). I do however, have a copy of a picture of a Stephen Joshua Killman and his wife Nancy Mary Elberta Mannon on their wedding day in 1898 in Mincy, Taney Co. MO., but I don't think he looks 45 years old and her last name wasn't Watson, so, I'm not sure if it's the same person that you are looking for. I recieved the picture of them from another Killman researcher. Please let me know your connection to this family and I will send her a letter and have her contact you, as I don't believe that she has email.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kathleen

Hi Ruby,
Thank you so much for writing! I always enjoy hearing from other "cousins"!

If you wouldn't mind, I would really love to have a copy of your picture. Could you possibly email me directly so I could send you my address? I will gladly pay for copying charges!

You wouldn't happen to know when or where Stephen's father....Stephen "Alford" Killman died would you? All I know is that he was living somewhere in Oklahoma in Dec.1923.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks again for writing.
Sincerely, Kathleen
