Jamie Boyd,

I am thrilled beyond words. I just looked in my family history and see that you and I are definitely related! I see that James Dunn married Elizabeth Hilliard and came to America settling in Buckingham Co. Virginia. I have census records from when he was 39 and listed his occupation as farmer. I can't wait to see what info you have! I'm new to this site and am not sure I am replying correctly. I have some info on Asbury line and noticed a reference under your name to someone else looking for info about that line. I can't wait to hear from you and must tell you my mouth dropped open when I checked my lists to see if the wife of James your James was the wife of my James and found it to be one and the same. Looking forward to hearing from you, and I hope I replied in a way that reaches you again! Debra

Debra and Jamie:
I am a Molloy descended from an Asbury/Molloy union. My GGGGrandmother was Hannah Asbury. She was the daughter of William Asbury. She married Abel F Molloy in Tazewell Va. He was gggrandson of James Dunn Molloy. I am sure you have checked out Ron Bryants Home Page. He has a lot of info. I would like to discuss your info and give you anything I can. Please e-mail me. I am on MSN instant Message also.
Thanks Cousins

Hello, Janice! Sorry to be so long in responding. Yes, I do believe that we are cousins. What is the name of your grandfather and great grandfather? My grandfather was Luther Molloy and his father was Anderson Jane "Ank" Molloy. I have quite a bit, but probably not as much as you. And no, I know nothing of Ron Bryant's home page. Could you give me info on this? Thanks!
Debra (P.S. Looking forward to hearing from you!)

I would appreciate any information you can give me. I'm new at sereaching online and don't know were to begin. Hope to hear from you soon.

Debra
I don't know if he is related to your gggggrandfather. He could be. I don't know any of his brothers or sisters or even who is parents are. I know he married Ann Beck in 1817. Ann was born in Kent Co. Maryland in 1793 her father Thomas Beck was a drummer boy in the American Revolution. She and Demarcus married in Caldwell Co. Kentucky we have a copy of their marriage licences. They had 9 children one died at 11 years old. The others are James Porter, Samuel Beck, Warren Polk, Thomas G.(I have no information on him), Chittendon(I know he went to Calif. during the gold rush don't know what happened to him), William M.(was a Methodist minister and he pastored Christian Misson Church form 1853-157 that is all I know about him, Pinkney Calvert and Mary Ann. The rest I have their children and some of their great grand children. If you can use any of this information I will be glad to e-mail it to you. I am new at researching and don't really know how go look for things on the internet, if i can be of help let me know.
Thanks
Quannah
