Hi, I am Donna Schlittenhardt, daughter of Herman granddaughter of Philip Schlittenhardt in North Dakota; now living in Michigan. Am looking for history of Philip's family his wife Emma Texas whom is still holding well at 100 years old this pass August of 2000. Wow she lives to enter another Century. What a marvelous woman she is a great inspiration in living life so well. A fine cook ( all homemade goodies ) one of the most hospitable women I've known. A very artistic creative woman crocheting all her children, grandchildren greatgrandchildren a variety of doilies, blankets, booties,potholders, etc,.etc,. etc... I only hope I inherrite some of these fine qualities along with her miraculous green thumb.Have any info please contact me at kdschlit@pplant.msu.edu

saw you a couple of years ago at Grandma's. I
have been working on Grandma and Grandpa for
a couple of years now. I do have quite a bit

Have info on Johann Michael Schlittenhardt b 1775 in Ellmendingen, Baden and emig. to Russia 1827. Married Magdalena Hies and had 6 children; Margaretha 1805, Juliann 1807, Philipp 1809, Christina 1812, Willhelmina 1815, Carl 1816.
Margaretha was my husbands gggrandmother and married Jakob H. Hepperle. I have info going back three generations from Johann Michael is any of this fits.
