My great-grandmother was Mary A Turney. She married Wilbur Fiske Page. Their daughter was
Elsie Louise Page b.3-25-1885. I think Mary
Turney was from Stepney (Monroe).

Several Daniel and David Turneys at that time. Original Turney = Benjiman Turney from England on my line. The Turneys you search for.. Did they go from con. to Ky. to Ill.by 1840? If so have lots of info. but in hurry!

Sorry Susan

If you are still looking I can provide with info on the CT Turney's. I've been researching them for a bit. I believe your David Turney was a brother of my Seth Downs Turney.

YES, YES, YES, I AM STILL LOOKING FOR INFO ON HIM! HE HAS BEEN A THORN FOR A LONG TIME! THE ONLY INFO THAT I HAVE IS THAT HE WAS BORN IN 1799 AND DIED 12-17-1874. HIS WIFE, LOIS NEWTON, WAS BORN 9-2-1804 AND DIED 1-28-1871. THEY WERE MARRIED 9-12-1821 AND HAD 2 CHILDREN THAT I KNOW OF. THEIR NAMES WERE: DANIEL G. (b. abt. 1826) AND JANE L. (b. abt. 1829). I DID FIND THEIR FAMILY IN THE 1850 CENSUS AND IT SPELLED THEIR NAME AS "TOURNEY". ANY INFO THAT YOU HAVE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. IF IT IS THE SAME MAN, I CAN SUPPLY YOU WITH THE IN-LAWS INFORMATION. YOU CAN REACH ME AT ramac@teleport.com.
