My WARDROP's were all born in Australia.

Elsie May Wardrop was one of seven WARDROP
children. I don't know who there parents were.
The children's names were Alf, Percy, Val, Dolly,
Victor, Jack and Elsie.

Elsie married Geroge PETERS and they had two children
Betty and George.

If anyone has any connections to these families I would
love to hear from you. There isn't many WARDROP's in the
world so there must be a match up somwehere.

Good luck with your search
Tami

I am contacting people with interst in Australia in the hope of finding information for an uncle.

Many years ago he was visited by a Percy Wardrop from Australia who was looking for family here in Scotland. At the time my unce did not know that his grandfather had a brother Henry, who immigrated from Scotland to Australia.

Just a few days ago he found a note in his deceased brother's possessions. This contained the name of Gavin Wardrop with an address in NSW. We are investigating the possibility of a connection with these people.

I would love to hear from you if you think there may be a connection with your family

As I mentioned in a previous post my uncle was visited with a Percy Wardrop. I have notes on another computer and will check to see if he ever made the connection with Percy. Other relatives were Alexander Sinclair Mackinnon and his wife Janet Smith who had children Jessie, Mary, John and Mabel born between 1880 and 1886 who also settled in NSW
