No, I'm sorry. We haven't come across those names. We don't have a lot of information as my father moved to Pennsylvania from Virginia as a young man and didn't keep in touch with his family.

May I ask where did he get the name Larkin from. That is an unusual name. I have an ancestor named Larkin May who married a Betsie May. They are from Louisa County. Most of the African American May's moved to Orange county. I am just curious.

I think the person that needed the information on Wm Wright was a previous poster, Marygooding27. I don't know of any Williams in our family, but thanks for your response.

That is a very good question. I do not know the answer to that, but I will check with my oldest brother and maybe he will know. I was raised in Pennsylvania and just assumed that was a more common Southern name. If I learn anything new, I will let you know.

Thanks.

I would be very interested in the information about Larkin Wright. Maybe eventually I will be able to make some connection. I don't have much information beyond my father, Edward Larkin Wright, born 5/10/1897, in Orange County, Virginia. His mother's name was Lizzie Ann, but I don't have any more info on her.

Larkin Wright died in infancy, but his father was William Wright. Here is some info/
Source: William S. Foley,Versailles,KY compiled and revised a history of William Wright.

He marched as a minute man around Culpeper Co., VA in the Rev. War. He lived to be104 years of age, and on his 100th abbiversary, he called out or cried out an auction on the steps of the Court House in Orange Co., VA. The J. W. Bledsoe Family Bible gives his date of birth as 10 March 1722, but William Wright's great grandson Bledsoe Wright, son of Crittenen Wright states that this date is in error in the family record.

Will Book 7, p. 560 Orange Co., VA 25 Mar 1833

He married Rachel Perry and Mary Bledsoe
