Hi,
My grandmother was Sarah Catlett, born in Va. or WV about 1847. She married James Edward Shimp, born 1847 in Ohio. Their first children were born in Virginia. About 4 of them, I think. They moved to Lucas Co. Iowa, and then to Springfield, Mo. where Sarah died in 1906. They tell me there are no death records from that time period, and I don't know who her parents were. I would appreciate any information concerning the CATLETT name.
Thanks,
Virginia

I haven't been at home, but some of my children have been using my computer and have lost any messages that I might have recieved. If you sent anything, please send it again! I do appreciate your help.
Thanks,

I have information that indicates a Huling-Catlett marriage in Virginia during the late 1700s. They had five children. After Ms Catlett passed away, James remarried and moved to Georgia. Does anyone have any more information on this family?

Christopher,
I have an aunt name was Ruby, she married Floyd Catlett and lived on Wildwood Rd. in Portsmouth. It is now called Chesapeake. Floyd also had a sister named Ruby,my father used to say they were a wild bunch those Catletts. They have all passed away now and had no children.
